22x10mm Tube (10) - Black Crumb - Glass Vintage Replica Trade Beads

With vibrant splashes of red, black, yellow, and a hint of white, these beads are just the thing for Aboriginal crafts and jewelry in Australia—or for adding a fun tribal twist to your creations anywhere in the world!

These beads are on a base of opaque black glass, with 'crumbs' of yellow, black and white.  Often called Venetian Trade Beads, they were made as trading beads to the Americas and Africa.

Measurements:  22mm long x 10mm wide with a 3mm threading hole

Origin:  Hand Made in India - We believe this bead to be a reproduction of a Trade Bead.

Bead Shack made a huge bead haul around 2007, and these beads were quite old before that.  The man we purchased them from used to collect large hauls of beads that became available, so who knows how long ago they were made!  Our best guess would be around 1980s.
