Charlotte Crimps

Often called Carlott or Carlotta crimps, these little gadgets hide crimps and knots inside, and are generally used as part of a closure - attach them from your jewellery piece to the clasp; think of a strand of pearls where you need to keep the knot inside something that looks pretty.  That's where a Charlotte crimp comes into play.
