This ice pick bail is perfect for hanging a pendant bead onto a necklace. By using these the pendant will hang to the front, as the thread passes through the loop at the top of the bail.

To attach to a pendant, just line up the 'ice pick' prongs with the holes in the pendant and give a gentle squeeze with your fingers. Then gently give a further squeeze with the flat pliers just to ensure it is closed safely. 

These pendant bails are brass based with plating.  There is a stamping of some kind on the hanger, but this does not denote special plating (I can't really decipher it).  They are normal costume jewellery plated.

I also notice that the loop is soldered closed, and the hanger is soldered closed.  If you should want to use it just by the loop to maybe attach to an earring fitting, you will need to cut the hanger off.

Measurements:  5mm wide, 11mm long. The threading hole is 3mm.  Pin is 0.8mm
