Oval Jumprings are fabulous because they are harder to pull open. When you link pieces together with them, the stress is on the ends of the rings, which do not have an opening. Once you get used to using oval jumprings, you will come to enjoy them.
These oval rings are very FINE. The metal wire is about .4mm (my best guesstimate from looking at it with the naked eye). You will find these an excellent choice when trying to repair or make a piece with very finely made chain with small holes within.
Use these also for connecting lightweight links for earring components. They don't weigh much, and aren't really that noticeable - much better than a large round clunky looking jumpring!
