These pendants are actually called Open Back Bezel pendants. They are often used for resin. A great idea is to place glitter, tiny flowers or embellishments, whatever you like, in these types of pendant frames, then you fill them with resin.
However, they are been popular lately used on their own, or as an overlay in front of a large clay shape (as an example). Your imagination can go wild with incredibly arty uses of these pieces.
