Vintage Lucite acrylic beads, probably made in Germany around 1950.
These beautiful pristine white vintage beads have a marvellous shiny surface, smooth and sleek. They are as white as white can be (not always easy to find a bead like this in pristine show white).
Make anything you like with these! They will be great on earrings &/or necklaces, bracelets too.
The melon shape is a very interesting look, with the grooves actually twisting a little bit as they go along the bead from hole to hole, lengthways. This bead is stunning, and until you hold them in your hand you won't be able to appreciate just how amazing and well made they are!
