A plastic backing, measure about 12.5mm across & about 1mm thick can be pushed onto the post of your stud earrings, and this will keep your stud bead upright, especially if a little weighty - sometimes the stud droops down towards your shoulder because of the shape or your ear lobe, or weight of the earring.
The plastic disc has a 'bullet' fitting in the centre measuring 6mm long which is what you feed onto the post.
