Please note - these tools are quite rustic. I had them handmade by a blacksmith in Bali. I saw the traditional silversmiths using these cutters, and was totally gobsmacked at the way they just stayed so sharp, even though I saw them cutting through sheets of silver that were about 2mm thick.
Even after using these cutters on metal, you will find they will slice through paper just like your sharpest pair of scissors! They truly are amazing.
If you do heaps of cutting in your jewellery making, eg wires, silver or copper sheets, or even just headpins, you will love the way these tools give a precise neat cut.
They are just a little different to your everyday tools, but so so worth it! These tools are kind of a 'lifetime' tool. They can even be fixed if the rivet every comes loose, and the blades can be sharpened.
