Gorgeous finish on these high quality round wood beads. Rather than varnish, it looks like these beads have been lightly oiled to enhance their colour and wood grain. Fabulous with such large holes - especially great for use with macrame projects or for threading onto leather.
It's in the nature of wood beads to sometimes have shards of wood inside the bead hole - you just use a nail or Awl tool to clear out the hole before stringing. If the hole is rough, you can smooth it out and enlarge it, using a Reamer tool
