This ice pick bail is perfect for hanging a pendant bead onto a necklace. Your cord can thread straight through the bail with no attachments necessary.
To attach to a bead, just line up the little 'ice pick' prongs with the holes in the bead then give a gentle squeeze with your fingers. Then gently give a further squeeze with the flat pliers just to ensure it is closed safely. Don't squeeze near the bead, squeeze the metal just above it.
This finding works similar to a triangle jumpring, but it is just a little prettier!
